How to Create a V3 Direct Token

Creating a V3 Direct token on HODL.DANCE is simple and takes about a minute. You don't need any coding knowledge — fill out the form, optionally set an initial buy and vanity address, and deploy. Trading starts immediately on PancakeSwap V3. There is no bonding curve and no graduation.

What Is V3 Direct?

When to use: you want instant V3 trading, permanent lock (not burn), and ongoing fee income via claims (profile Fee Claims).

Difference vs Bonding Curve graduation:
BC graduates at 4.4 BNB into locked V3 with 90/10 fee share after migration.
V3 Direct starts already on V3 with 50/50 fee share and no curve phase.

Difference vs V2 Burn:
V2 burns LP and has no fee claim. V3 Direct locks LP NFT and allows fee claims.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Go to Create Page

Click "Create Token" in the navigation menu or go directly to /create. Open the V3 Direct tab (violet / “New”).

Step 2: Fill in Token Information

Token Name (required)

• Enter token name (3–40 characters)
• Only letters, numbers, and spaces allowed (invisible / zero-width characters are stripped)
• Example: HODL Dance, Moon Rocket

Token Symbol (required)

• Enter token symbol (1–10 characters)
• Automatically converted to UPPERCASE
• Only letters and numbers
• Example: HODL, MOON

Description (optional but recommended)

• Describe your project (max 500 characters)
• Longer descriptions give higher Token Quality Score
• Example: "A community token for DeFi lovers. Join the dance!"

Logo (required)

1. Click "Choose File"
2. Select an image (PNG, JPG, or WEBP)
3. Maximum file size: 5MB
4. Recommended: 512×512px square image
5. Preview appears immediately

Initial Buy (optional)

• Buy tokens in the same transaction as launch via Pancake V3
• Enter amount: 0 – 10 BNB
• Quick buttons include: 0.001, 0.1, 0.25, 0.5 BNB (you can type any valid amount)
• Wallet value must cover launch fee + initial buy

Notes:

• Exact tokens received depend on pool price / ticks (preview shows an estimate)
• Creator is anti-snipe exempt, so a same-tx buy will not fail on max wallet/tx
• Optional — 0 BNB is fine; you can buy later on the token page

Why initial buy?

• Save gas (one transaction instead of two)
• Get tokens immediately as deployer
• Appear on first charts with real activity
• Soft Token Quality Score still rewards modest / zero buy (similar idea to Bonding Curve)

Step 3: Vanity Address (optional)

Same CREATE2 vanity system as V2 Burn: your token can end with a memorable hex suffix.

How it works:

1. Optionally click a preset or type your own hex suffix
2. Click Mine and wait until a matching salt is found
3. Preview shows the future address ending with your suffix
4. Deploy uses that salt so the on-chain address matches

Rules:

• 1–4 hex characters only: 0-9 and a-f (case-insensitive)
• Empty field = no vanity — deploy with a random salt immediately
• Longer suffixes take longer to mine

Custom: type any valid 1–4 hex string yourself.

Step 4: Anti-Snipe (automatic on V3 Direct)

You don’t configure this manually — at launch the token enables temporary transfer limits:

Details:

• Applies to non-exempt wallets only
• Creator exempt (initial buy and creator transfers OK)
• Pool, router, position manager, locker, factory exempt so launch + swaps work
• Auto-disables after restrictionEndBlock
• After renounce, limits cannot be extended or changed by anyone

This reduces early sniper dumps swallowing huge supply in the first minutes after launch.

Step 5: Check the Preview

On the right side (or below on mobile), you’ll see a live preview:

What you’ll see:

• Your logo, name, and symbol
• Social media icons
• Token Quality Score (0–100)
• V3 Direct badge / locked-LP status
• Distribution: 100% V3 LP locked (+ estimated “you” slice if initial buy > 0)
• Status copy: supply locked, 50% claimable creator fees
• Vanity address preview (if mined)

Step 6: Review Token Quality Score

Your token receives a quality score from 0–100 based on:

Score labels:

• 90–100: Excellent
• 80–89: Great
• 60–79: Good
• 40–59: Fair
• 0–39: Needs Work

Step 7: Deploy Your Token

1. Check that all information is correct
2. Review total cost at the bottom:
   • Launch fee (if any)
   • + your initial buy (if selected)
3. If using vanity: confirm salt is mined
4. Click "Deploy Token"
5. Confirm the transaction in your wallet (value = launch fee + initial buy)

Progress indicators:

• "Uploading metadata..." — Saving logo and data to IPFS
• "Confirm in wallet..." — Approving transaction in wallet
• "Deploying token..." — Waiting for blockchain confirmation
• "Finding your token..." — System is locating your new token

Step 8: Success!

When deployment completes, open your token page: /token/[your-token-address]

Later, claim trading fees from your profile → Fee Claims.

What Happens After Deployment?

On-chain flow (V3 Direct)

1. Launch fee (if > 0) → platform collector
2. CREATE2 token clone (+ vanity salt if any)
3. Initialize: mint full supply, trading on, anti-snipe, temp owner = factory
4. Create/initialize Pancake V3 pool at default tick
5. Mint single-sided full-supply position → V3 Locker as recipient
6. Register position: creator = you
7. Optional initial buy (BNB → tokens via Smart Router) → your wallet
8. Renounce token ownership
9. Backend indexes TokenLaunched and (if buy in same tx) pool Swap

How Trading Works

• Buy/sell on PancakeSwap V3 (1% fee tier used by this path) and on HODL.DANCE swap
• Fees accrue on the locked position
• After ~1400 blocks, anti-snipe limits end automatically

Claiming Fees

• Open Profile → Fee Claims
• Locker claimFees pays 50% to you / 50% to platform
• BNB + token fees are handled by the locker (unwrapped where applicable)
• You can claim periodically as volume accumulates

Logo

• Use high-quality image (≥500×500px)
• Square format works best
• Clear, recognizable design

Description

• Write at least 400 characters for maximum description points

• Verify links before deploy

Initial Buy

• 0 BNB is valid — buy later if you want
• Modest buys (e.g. ≤0.25–0.5) often look healthier for score optics

How much does it cost to create a V3 Direct token?

Launch fee (may be 0) + optional initial buy (0–10 BNB) + gas. Minimum is roughly gas only when fee and buy are 0.

Is this the same as Bonding Curve graduation?

No. No curve, no 4.4 BNB target. Instant V3 + 50/50 claims (graduated BC is 90/10 after migration).

Where is my LP?

Held as a Pancake V3 NFT inside the V3 Locker — not in your wallet, not removable.

Can I remove liquidity later?

No. Locker does not release the position.

Do I get 10% supply like V2 Burn?

No. V3 Direct puts 100% in LP; you only get tokens from optional initial buy (or market buys later).

Can I claim trading fees?

Yes. Profile → Fee Claims. Split is 50% you / 50% platform.

What is a vanity address?

A token contract address that ends with a chosen hex suffix (1–4 characters), mined in the browser with CREATE2 before deploy.

Vanity on Bonding Curve?

Not on the classic BC form — only V2 Burn and V3 Direct.

Why anti-snipe?

Temporary max wallet / max tx for ~10 minutes so bots can’t vacuum huge supply in the first blocks. Creator is exempt.

Can I change max wallet after launch?

No after renounce. Window is fixed at create (~1400 blocks).

What's the maximum initial buy?

10 BNB on V3 Direct (Bonding Curve form max is 1 BNB).

Why didn’t my initial buy show in history?

Buys in the same launch transaction are indexed from the receipt as a V3 swap. If something is missing, later trades still index normally — refresh the token page.

Can I change name / symbol / logo after deployment?

Name, symbol, supply, and logo are fixed on-chain. Description / socials may be updatable only under verification rules. See the Token Verification guide.

Can I create multiple tokens?

Yes. Each launch is independent.

How long does deployment take?

Usually 10–40 seconds after wallet confirmation. Don’t close the page.

What if deployment fails?

Check BNB balance (fee + buy + gas), network (BNB Chain), and BSCScan. Failed txs do not leave a live token.
